I've been volunteering with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program at Oxford Middle School for six weeks now, and over that time I've learned a lot about my "little brother." Let's call him Timmy. The main thing I've noticed is how starved he is for a positive male role model.
By their own repeated insistence, nobody in UPD Parking Services believes there is a "parking problem" on campus. The administration insists more spaces are available than there are decals sold. They like to point out that decal prices here are significantly lower than schools that have parking garages and public transit.

In Jackson, the city council plans to meet next week to discuss a ban on saggy pants similar to a ban already in effect in Atlanta. They have described saggy pants as "wearing pants below the waist as to expose one's underwear." First-time offenders would receive a warning, a second violation would be a $25 fine, the third would be $50 and each violation after that would be a maximum of $100 or eight hours of community service.
