This speedy world-wide spread of protests started with just over a thousand people protesting the greed of Wall Street investment bankers and has grown to include hundreds of thousands of protesters in 900 cities around the world, according to “The Atlantic” magazine.

It’s the second year of Hillel on the University of Mississippi campus.

Many people wonder why the Ole Miss campus needs another religious organization, but this one is different.

Founded in 1923, Hillel has become the largest Jewish student organization in the world, boasting over 550 chapters worldwide.

The organization focuses on the Jewish community of Oxford, along with the community at Ole Miss.

Senior Morgan Springer has provided consistent play for the Ole Miss Rebel volleyball team throughout her career.

The libero has become what one could call the “dig master,” after recording her thousandth career dig last season. For the past two seasons, Stringer has started every match at the libero position.

The libero in volleyball is a defensive specialist position that wears a different-colored jersey from her teammates, remains in the game at all times and is not limited by substitution rules that other players are.

There has been much debate on the Ole Miss campus about the plus/minus grading system, dating back to when the idea was originally brought forward in 2004.

Nicolas Trépanier, assistant professor of history, said that when he came to teach at Ole Miss, he was surprised that they did not already use the plus/minus system.

“I think it gives a better reflection of the student’s performance,” he said, adding that he will be using the system in his class.

So, say I was a media outlet. I don’t even have to be reputable, just popular.

Let’s say that I want information that no one else has. I have to say that deleting the voice mails of a missing teenage girl to make room for more would probably not be my highest priority.

So, I’m not sure why the now-defunct News of the World did this very stupid thing.

There was a moment Friday afternoon at the Palmer/Salloum where Ole Miss women’s tennis coach Mark Beyers thought his team was going to shock the entire college tennis world.

But in the end against Friday’s opponent, No. 1 Florida, they proved why they’re the top team in the country as well as why they’ve won 19 straight Southeastern Conference regular season matches.

The No. 1 Gators (16-1, 5-0 SEC) defeated No. 29 Ole Miss (8-6, 1-4 SEC) 7-0 in a match with a score that doesn’t indicate how close it truly was.
