When the Ole Miss Rebels tangle with the top-ranked LSU Tigers on Saturday, it will not only be the last home game in the Houston Nutt era, but it will also be Senior Night for the team’s 13 seniors.
For two of those seniors, they will be going out playing against their hometown team. Running back Brandon Bolden calls Baton Rouge, La., home and defensive end Kentrell Lockett hails from nearby Hahnville, La.
Both players have seen the ups and downs of the Ole Miss football program in Nutt’s tenure, and both have played instrumental roles in some big wins.

Ole Miss is now faced with the task of replacing senior defensive end Wayne Dorsey, who broke his right arm against Alabama this past weekend. Dorsey was in the middle of an impressive senior season, leading the Rebels in sacks with three and racking up 22 tackles.

Senior defensive end Kentrell Lockett is tired of waiting. After tearing his ACL in his right knee last season against Fresno State, he figured his football days were over.

The coaching staff sent a waiver to the NCAA, requesting for Lockett to be granted a sixth year of eligibility due to the limited action he saw in 2010. The wait took its toll on Lockett.
