The Lady Rebels have lost the six games since and look to snap that losing streak and get back to their winning ways.

Greyshirting

A greyshirt is when a recruit delays his enrollment for a semester so his eligibility clock doesn’t start until January of the next year. The player can take less than a full load of classes and work out but can’t practice or play with the team. It is used by schools to create more room to sign players when scholarships are tight.

Students pull long nights studying for tests, finishing projects and completing homework, but for some students, coffee and energy drinks aren’t enough to stay up and stay focused.
More and more college students are turning to ADHD medication to solve this problem.
Conner Hicks, a freshman undecided major, is prescribed to take ADHD medication by his doctor.
“I use it as prescribed every day, but I tend to use it sometimes just to keep myself awake to get my school work done,” he said.

When it was announced on Nov. 7 that head coach Houston Nutt would not return next season, he remained to coach the last three games of the 2011 season. It was not the swan song Nutt had in mind. After blowout losses to Louisiana Tech and No. 1 LSU at home, the Houston Nutt era at Ole Miss (2-10, 0-8 SEC) reached its conclusion on a rain-soaked Saturday night in Starkville.

Students may see some serious changes being made to the University of Mississippi’s tobacco policy in the semesters to come. With resolutions being worked on by the Associated Student Body and the Division of Student Affairs, students may see their campus take steps toward becoming smoke free.
In doing so, Ole Miss would join the ranks of other SEC schools that have smoke-free campuses, including the University of Kentucky, the University of Florida and the University of Arkansas.

AUSTIN MILLER: What are your overall thoughts on the Houston Nutt’s four seasons at Ole Miss?

EDWARD ASCHOFF: I think things started off better than anybody could have ever imagined with back-to-back Cotton Bowl victories. He was the king of town. People loved Houston Nutt, and he was really engaging. He fit in well with the community and was exactly what a team like that needed at the time after the disaster with Ed Orgeron.

Rumors, reports and all kinds of bad history abound in the wake of Ole Miss’ fourth-quarter collapse Saturday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Rumors, reports and all kinds of bad history abound in the wake of Ole Miss’ fourth-quarter collapse Saturday.

With the 30-13 loss at Kentucky, the Rebels’ Southeastern Conference losing streak stands at 12 games, the longest in school history. And, for the first time since 1950, Ole Miss has lost to Vanderbilt and Kentucky in the same season.

Suffice to say, there’s uncertainty surrounding head coach Houston Nutt’s future, or lack thereof, in Oxford.
