Private first class Bradley Manning has been held in solitary confinement in the military brig in Quantico, Va., since May of last year. That’s 11 months of loneliness, fear and misery perpetrated against an American citizen by other Americans.
For 11 months now, Manning has been deprived of his right to a speedy trial.
